The Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences at Mohammed V University in Rabat is organizing the second edition of its International Conference in the fields of language studies, literature, and social sciences. This year’s theme will focus on the importance of promoting research ethics in academic research, particularly in the areas of language studies, literature, and social sciences.
As outlined by the 2017 report from the Higher Council for Education, Training, and Scientific Research, and the pedagogical guidelines for doctoral studies, research ethics serve as a cornerstone for ensuring the integrity and credibility of academic research. Upholding ethical standards is crucial to fostering trust between researchers, academic institutions, and society at large. In light of the growing academic and technological challenges, it is essential to cultivate a strong culture of research ethics among doctoral students to produce quality research that adheres to high standards of academic integrity.
This conference, organized in collaboration with the Doctoral Studies Center “Humans and Space in the Mediterranean World”, aims to provide doctoral students with a platform to present their research, while upholding the highest academic ethical standards.
Conference Objectives
This conference aims to:
• Raise awareness among doctoral students about the importance of research ethics and its impact on the quality of academic research.
• Encourage researchers to incorporate ethical values throughout all stages of research, from hypothesis formulation to publication of results.
• Provide a platform for academic discussions on how to implement ethical practices in various fields of study, with a focus on language studies, literature, and social sciences.
• Highlight the role of research ethics in fostering academic innovation and excellence.
• Prepare a new generation of researchers capable of addressing research challenges with high ethical standards.
